1. Acceptance of terms
By using this website, submitting a form, booking an appointment, or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms & Service Scope and the Privacy Policy. Additional written scope, pricing, scheduling, or project terms provided before work begins are incorporated into the agreement for that service.
2. Service model
Every new customer begins with a paid remote consultation unless WiFi Therapist expressly agrees otherwise. The consultation is an assessment and recommendation service. It may lead to guided remote optimization, an onsite visit, a custom project proposal, a recommendation to use another qualified provider, or confirmation that no additional service is necessary.
Remote consultations are generally available nationwide. Onsite availability depends on location, travel, property conditions, schedule, and scope.
3. Scope boundaries
| WiFi Therapist may provide | WiFi Therapist does not provide |
|---|---|
| Assessment, configuration, optimization, troubleshooting, education, documentation, and planning | Internet service, electrical work, structural work, or permanent in-wall low-voltage installation |
| Temporary testing, device setup, placement guidance, wired-option planning, and coordination notes | Drilling through walls or ceilings, opening finished surfaces, or work requiring a licensed trade |
| Independent equipment and provider recommendations | Manufacturer warranties, provider guarantees, or control over third-party outages |
When another trade or provider is needed, WiFi Therapist may describe the requirement or help coordinate the plan, but the customer contracts directly with that third party unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
4. Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about the property, equipment, internet service, and symptoms.
- Confirm that you own the property or have authority to authorize the requested work.
- Confirm your name and the service-property address during the session-opening verification.
- Provide a safe, reasonably accessible work area for onsite service.
- Back up important device settings or data when appropriate.
- Close unrelated applications, messages, and notifications before screen sharing.
- Review and approve purchases, subscriptions, permanent installation plans, and third-party work.
5. Passwords and account credentials
Do not submit passwords through website forms, secure documents, screenshots, or ordinary email. When access is necessary, the preferred approach is for you to enter the credential privately on your own device. You remain responsible for account security and for changing credentials when appropriate after service.
6. Session documentation, transcription, and screenshots
WiFi Therapist may use an AI transcription tool to assist with note preparation during a remote session. The session is not video recorded. AI-generated content is reviewed before it becomes customer documentation.
A screenshot may be taken only when it is reasonably useful to document equipment, a settings page, an error message, or the physical setup shown during the session. Permission will be requested before the screenshot is taken. The customer is responsible for keeping passwords and unrelated personal information off screen.
The session may begin with confirmation of the customer's name and service-property address so notes and recommendations are associated with the correct property.
7. Consultation review, treatment plan, and secure delivery
A consultation review is generally prepared within 48 hours after the initial consultation and may include the current assessment, likely limiting factors, suggested first fixes, observations to monitor, and a recommended next step.
When a guided remote or onsite appointment is scheduled, a treatment plan is generally delivered 24 to 48 hours before that appointment. It may be revised after additional research, product or software verification, direct testing, or observation of the property and equipment. Meaningful changes will be explained before action is taken.
Detailed reviews, treatment plans, quotes, and service records may be delivered through secure links. Customers should not forward secure links or use ordinary email to send passwords or detailed network credentials.
8. Pricing, payment, and consultation credit
Prices shown on the website are starting prices unless a service is specifically described as fixed. Taxes, payment-processing treatment, travel, equipment, shipping, parking, third-party labor, subscriptions, and larger project scope may be additional when disclosed before purchase.
The standard Guided Remote Optimization session is $100. A preferred $75 follow-up rate may be available when booked within seven days of the initial consultation.
The initial $50 consultation fee may be applied to a qualifying first onsite visit when onsite service is recommended and the visit is booked within 10 days of the consultation. The appointment may occur later based on availability. The credit has no cash value, does not apply to equipment or third-party labor, and does not stack with a guided remote session or another promotion unless expressly stated.
9. Scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations
Appointment availability is not guaranteed until scheduling and payment are complete. Rescheduling is free with at least 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations and missed appointments may forfeit the consultation or appointment fee, with reasonable exceptions reviewed individually.
WiFi Therapist may reschedule or cancel when illness, safety, access, travel, equipment, or other circumstances make service impractical; amounts owed for undelivered services will be handled according to the written booking terms.
10. Equipment and third-party recommendations
Recommendations are based on the information available at the time, expected compatibility, customer goals, research, and reasonable professional judgment. Product specifications, prices, software, provider policies, and availability can change. Unless expressly stated in writing, WiFi Therapist is not the seller or warrantor of third-party equipment and does not control third-party support, updates, outages, or subscription terms.
11. Results, estimates, and warranties
WiFi Therapist will provide services with reasonable care but does not guarantee a particular speed, coverage area, latency, uptime, device compatibility, provider performance, or review score. Results can be affected by building materials, radio interference, internet-provider service, damaged equipment, software changes, device limits, user settings, and conditions outside WiFi Therapist's control.
Any expected result, timeline, or estimate is a good-faith planning judgment rather than a guarantee. The customer's remedy for a concern about delivered work is to notify WiFi Therapist promptly and allow a reasonable opportunity to review the issue.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WiFi Therapist is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages, including lost data, lost income, lost reservations, missed work, or loss of use arising from the website, third-party products, provider service, or a recommendation. Direct liability related to a paid service will not exceed the amount paid to WiFi Therapist for the service giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law does not allow that limitation.
13. Website content and intellectual property
Website text, branding, layouts, treatment-plan formats, communication templates, and original materials are owned by or licensed to WiFi Therapist. Visitors may use the website for personal evaluation of services but may not copy, resell, republish, or misrepresent the materials as their own.
14. Changes and severability
These terms may be updated as the business, vendors, services, or law changes. If one provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
15. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law must apply. Questions may be submitted through the Contact form using “General Question.”
