No. Start with what you are experiencing: a room with weak service, frozen live TV, an unreliable video call, devices dropping offline, or simply a setup that feels confusing. The consultation is designed to identify the likely cause.
Clear answers before you book.
You do not need to understand networking before reaching out. Search a question, browse by category, or use the contact form when your situation is different.
Getting Started
We begin with the question, “What are you experiencing that made you reach out today?” Then we review the current setup, the property, the affected devices, and your goals. You leave with a clear understanding of the likely bottleneck and the best next step.
You receive clear answers, honest recommendations, and a personalized path forward. That path may be to optimize the current setup, consider a specific upgrade, continue with guided remote help, schedule an onsite visit, or confirm that the setup is already strong.
Be near the router or the room where the problem happens if convenient. Have the important device available. You do not need to know technical terms, collect screenshots, or find every model number before the call.
No. Never enter Wi-Fi passwords, internet-provider passwords, router administrator passwords, or payment-card details into the contact or booking forms. If a credential is needed during a session, you should enter it privately on your own device.
Recommendations & Pricing
No. WiFi Therapist optimizes what you already own before recommending more equipment. When an upgrade would add real value, the recommendation explains what to buy, why it helps, and what improvement is realistic.
Sometimes, but not automatically. A faster plan cannot fix poor placement, weak coverage, an overloaded device, unreliable Wi-Fi settings, or a provider outage. The consultation separates internet-plan limits from problems inside the property.
No. WiFi Therapist is positioned as an independent home technology consulting service, not an internet reseller.
When an onsite visit is recommended, the initial $50 consultation fee can be applied toward the qualifying first onsite visit under the eligibility details provided with the recommendation. Guided remote optimization is separate paid work and does not create an additional onsite credit.
The standard guided remote session is $100. A preferred $75 follow-up rate may be available when booked within seven days of the initial consultation.
Standard onsite optimization starts at $125 after the required remote consultation. The final scope and price depend on the property, location, and work recommended. Travel-based or larger projects receive a custom quote.

Remote, Onsite & Coverage
Yes. The $50 consultation and guided remote optimization are available nationwide.
Remote services remain available. If being onsite would add meaningful value, WiFi Therapist can prepare a custom quote based on travel, location, and scope. The website does not reject customers based on ZIP code.
No. WiFi Therapist does not drill, perform electrical work, or install permanent in-wall low-voltage wiring. We can plan the work and help communicate the requirements to a qualified installer.
Testing methods and temporary equipment depend on the appointment scope and customer approval. Any equipment that remains at the property is identified and priced before it is left behind.
Appointments, Follow-Up & Contact
Use the scheduling link in the confirmation email. Rescheduling is free with at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations and missed appointments may forfeit the appointment fee, with reasonable exceptions reviewed individually.
We will say so. The consultation can confirm that the setup is strong, explain why it is working, and identify only optional improvements tied to future goals.
You should still leave understanding the limiting factor, what has been ruled out, and which options are realistic. WiFi Therapist does not promise outcomes that depend on provider outages, damaged equipment, or conditions outside its control.
Use the Contact form and select “Question Before Booking.” The form also supports existing appointments, follow-up questions, and general questions without publishing a personal phone number or inbox address.
Yes. The service is designed around informed decisions. You should understand what is being changed, why it matters, and what to expect afterward.
Remote sessions are not video recorded. An AI transcription tool may be used to help prepare accurate notes. AI-generated notes are reviewed before use. Permission is requested before any screenshot is taken.
The session begins with a short verification so documentation, recommendations, and follow-up are connected to the correct property, especially when an existing customer has more than one location.
Ordinary email contains minimal detail. Detailed reviews, plans, quotes, and service records are delivered through secure links when available. Customers should not email passwords or forward secure links.
